The senior hurlers got a last minute goal from David Hickey to earn a hard fought win vs Killeagh.
Bishopstown who had a very strong opening 15 minutes but struggled there after where down on a score of 1-6 to 0-11 at the half.
A very strong start to the second half by Killeagh saw them pull out a 8 point lead with about 10-15 minutes to go. The bishopstown lads never gave up and with some will hit frees from Thomas Murray and some fine goal keeping from Brian Donovan they got to within two points.
With a minute to go a hopefull high ball was sent into the Killeagh defence, when David Hickey struck it with a great over the head strike to leave the town leading by a point. A lead they never let go of into injury time.
