Club Coaching Initiative

The club is embarking on a new initiative to streamline coaching of youth/underage players from the ages of 5 to 16. The club coaching plan was launched on Feb 3rd. Plans are underway to run a Level 1 coaching course for prospective coaches of youths from 12 to 16 tears old. See details below.

Level 1 Coaching Course

A coaching course(level 1)for football and hurling coaches will be held in the next few weeks
This course takes 20 hours and will be held on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons. The cost for each participant will be paid in full by the club. This coaching course will offer you many ideas for your coaching and is part of the overall coaching plan for the club. It is intended that there will be a further course for coaching 5 - 12 year olds later in the year.

Training for the under 13 and under 14 hurlers will commence on Friday 13th January in the CIT astro pitch

Please note the following change to the training schedule
Hurling training will commence at 6pm and end at 7pm in the CIT astro pitch for the next 3 Friday nights the 11th ,18th and 25th February
Players to attend at 5.45pm
