| SENIOR
CHAMPIONSHIP: This year our senior team has regraded to Senior B for the championship. It is run on a league basis before the knock out stages take place meaning we will have at least three matches this summer. We have been drawn with Ballygarvan, Ballinhassig and Glen Rovers. Our first game was against Ballygarvan on Friday 8th July. Unfortunately we were beaten by two points in what was an extremely competitive game. On Thursday 14th July however, we came out on top in our next game, against Ballinhassig, beating them by two goals. Our final group match took place on Tuesday last, 23rd August, against Glen Rovers and we won this game comfortably on a scoreline of 4-15 to 1-04. This means we are now through to a semi-final meeting with St. Catherines, who topped their group, which will take place next Monday 29th August. FÉILE |
